Dales Park Netball Facility, Oakleigh, Victoria

The Dales Park netball courts are used heavily by 13 local netball clubs with over 1,500 members. Kingston Council recently committed several million dollars to upgrade the Netball facilities, including eight new netball courts, player shelters, fencing, lighting and new pavements.

Project Design Brief

To remove stormwater from the courts, new surface drains were required. The drainage needed to be strong enough to withstand vehicular traffic and also meet stringent foot safety requirements. Designers sought a modern finish to the courts and wanted a drainage system that would make a visual statement.
