Gympie Aquatic Centre, Gympie, Queensland
The new Gympie Aquatic Recreational Centre includes an eight-lane, 50m Olympic Pool and 25m Indoor Heated Pool (open year-round). In addition, the facility includes a water park, a gym, change rooms, administration offices, a conference centre and numerous other amenities.
Project Design Brief
Between the pool areas and the building, designers positioned a wide concourse. For the safety of adults and children, a trench drain with foot friendly grates was selected to ensure effective drainage on a flat and level pavement.

- The 0.5% built-in channel slope in the KS100 system provides gravity runoff to the outlets, whilst allowing the surrounding pavements to be constructed level.
