As with all platforms, designers were faced with the challenge of keeping the slab level and safe for  commuters, whilst ensuring adequate  provision for drainage.

ACO’s sloped KlassikDrain trench drain was therefore specified for the drainage of rainwater  from the platform area.

Heelsafe® Anti-Slip grates were also selected to ensure the metal surfaces would not trap women’s heels. This grate offers a level of slip resistance providing greater assurance to commuters on wet days.
